The terms webdesign and webdevelopment represent the two essential steps to create a website.

The process of creative activity is commonly referred to webdesign. A webdesign usually starts with a sketch, a so called wireframe or mockup. This sketch shows the rough structure of the website. The structure of the menu system as well as the arrangement of pictures and texts are settled. Based on the wireframes a first screen design will be created. That screendesign will present the actual layout of the website. In contrast to the sketched version of the website now also colors are used for example. These colors should be based on the current corporate design (if there is already one available) and represent the best possible relation with the companies identity. The choice of fonts, the creation of icons as well as editing images are also belonging to the topic of ​​webdesign.
